最初はメリルというバンドのギター・ボーカルのkubobonさんだった…　メリルさんは「メガネポップス」と自称してると思うけれど、kubobonさんは確かにメガネをしていて、音楽もそれに何かの影響を受けてる気配…　よくフォースフロアで共演している…　今夜は最後の出演者の松浦健太松浦健太松浦健太さんが一曲ほどkubobonさんの曲にハーモニカで飛び入り参加した…　メリルさんのサイト…

Dale played a solo show tonight at Fourth Floor in Kichijoji... Dale is writing this in the third person, like Horselover Fat, to gain some much-needed objectivity...

before Dale, Takubon played... they often end up playing together at Fourth Floor... Takubon plays in a band called Meril... I think Dale has only seen Meril live once, years ago, but the band describes themselves as "Megane Pop" (glasses pop), and Takubon and the other members are indeed bespectacled...  (I think Dale likes the word "bespectacled"... it's one of those words like "defenestrate" that's only useful on rare occasions, but at those times it's actually really useful...)

Dale was next... personally, I enjoyed Dale's show (somewhat), but Dale himself seemed to be having a tough time... he kept forgetting lyrics and chords, his voice cracked, his tempo wavered... it certainly looks tough being a singer... here's his set list:

after Dale and I played, Akira Ishizuka was next... male singer-songwriter on bass... we've played with him a few times at Fourth Floor... he seems to be very into classic rock... his site is here...

last was Matsuura Kenta Matsuura Kenta Matsuura Kenta... his stage name is his real name thrice, for reasons of symmetry I suppose... Dale and I agreed that his lyrics were sometimes funny, sometimes affecting, and his singing voice was pure... Dale asked if he has a site, but it looks like he only does Twitter, so I'll paste a link here...
